Grew an experimental social project that started with a part-time animator and myself to a team of seven covering two verticals and outputting 120 videos a week. I produced graphic-heavy videos with my animation team and created and edited story line ups with my edit team. Overall I managed orderly workflows, kept us on breakneck daily deadlines, oversaw the creation of Snapchat-only content, budgeted, collaborated with numerous other teams, and analyzed hourly data. We’ve shot videos with top talent, covered live events, and made the occasional deranged meme.  I produce the full scope of production from ideation to hitting publish. I managed the team of writers, animators, and interns edit the line ups and writing, and give creative direction.

Each week, I meet with editors, writers, and the video team to see what is coming down the pipeline on each of the verticals. My team takes the site content (and our own Snap-only content) and creates a mini magazine of sorts, perfect for the Snapchat landscape. I work closely with my animators to come with designs and directing creative that best fit the stories and engage our audience. At our peak production, the team outputs roughly 120 pieces of content a week.

Com Score started adding snapchat views to New York Magazine’s score which resulted in an over 30% audience increase, lowering the median age, and greatly helped sales growth.
